Signing in

Use the email and password for your MW client portal — the same sign-in as the dashboard at dash.mwds.digital. There is no sign-up in the app: accounts are issued by us, either to the client contact or to a colleague the client has added to their portal.

If the app will not let you in

It refuses for one of three reasons, and each says which:

  • Not linked to a client account. The email you used is not one of our client contacts and has not been added to a client's portal. Ask the account holder to add you, or email us.
  • No online store. Every website on the account was asked and none of them is running WooCommerce. MW Store manages a shop; without one there is nothing for it to do.
  • MW Store is not switched on. The app comes with a maintenance plan or is added by hand. Tell us and we will switch it on; the "Check again" button picks it up without a reinstall.

A website that is simply slow or offline does not lock you out. You are let in and meet an honest connection error on the inside instead.

Notifications

New orders can buzz your phone. Turn them on in Settings → Allow notifications, and choose there which ones you want. They arrive whether or not the app is open. If they stop, check iOS Settings → Notifications → MW Store first, then tell us — we can see from our side whether your device is still registered.

Locking the app

Settings → Require Face ID locks MW Store whenever it goes into the background, so a phone left on a counter does not show your takings. It only hides what is on screen: your sign-in is untouched and nothing is deleted.

Screens that need a plugin

The menu only shows what your website actually runs and has licensed. Wallet, service requests, shipping rates, invoice and packing slip settings, popups and analytics each come from their own MW plugin — if one is missing from your menu, that plugin is not installed or not licensed on your site. That is a question for us, not a fault in the app.

Things the app deliberately leaves to a desk

  • Shipping zone locations are shown and counted but edited on the website — one zone on a real store carries 585 postcodes.
  • Popup colours and page-by-page targeting are set on the website; the message, the trigger and the schedule are in the app.
