Case study / Uniglent
An after-college project that had to look like an institution.
Uniglent started as something a few friends began after college and became an overseas education consultancy placing students abroad. Nothing about the advice needed to change. What needed to change was how much of it a stranger could see.

What we built
A small company's website is its credentials.
Two audiences, one page
A student deciding where to apply, and an institution deciding whether to sign. They want different things — reassurance versus credibility — but they arrive at the same homepage, so it had to satisfy both without reading as a pitch to either.
One ask, and it is a phone number
The hero asks for a number and nothing else. Choosing a country, a course and a university is a conversation, not a form — so the site's only job is to earn that call, and every field beyond the first is a reason not to make it.
The whole journey named up front
From application to visa, stated on the homepage. Students who have been burned by consultants who vanish after the offer letter are looking for exactly that sentence, and it costs nothing to say plainly.
Built to be read from another country
A partner institution abroad will judge an unfamiliar company by its website before any meeting. That means the site has to load and read properly on a phone in another timezone, and look like an organisation rather than a landing page.
What happened next
Uniglent went on to sign a partnership with a Vietnamese college, and credit the site as part of being taken seriously.
That is their account of their own business, and we are repeating it as theirs. A website does not win a contract — people and terms do. What it can do is stop a serious partner discounting a young company before the first conversation, and Uniglent say it did.
They describe the revenue effect as substantial. We have not seen the figures, so we are not going to print one.
On the site
Everything a student asks, before they ring.
The homepage only asks for a number, but it has to earn that call first. These are the sections doing it, in the order a student meets them.
Six destinations, named
Australia, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States, each with its own route in — so a student who has already decided where can go straight there.
Over 200 universities
The size of the network stated plainly. For a consultancy, breadth of placement is the closest thing to a track record a first-time visitor can check.
A nursing pathway of its own
Healthcare is a large share of the students this business places, so it gets its own section rather than sitting inside a general course list.
How it works, step by step
Profile evaluation, course selection and the stages that follow — the process written out, because the fear with any consultant is not knowing what you have paid for.
Smaller than the people you want to deal with?
If a partner, a lender or a large customer is going to look you up before replying, the site is doing the first half of that meeting. Tell us who you need to convince.
