Case study / 3G ManPower

A manpower business given its own front door — and the system behind it.

3G supply warehouse and industrial workers in Singapore. Manpower was one service inside a logistics group's site. We gave it a site of its own, then built the attendance system the operation runs on.

Comparison. Before: The 3G Logistics homepage, where manpower was one of several services. After: The 3G ManPower homepage, built around supplying workers.

What changed

One service, given a page that is only about it.

01

Manpower stops competing with freight for the same page

Before

Manpower sat inside 3glogistics.com alongside end-to-end supply chain, warehousing and distribution, under a homepage headline that had to cover all of it.

After

Its own domain and its own homepage, where every line is about supplying workers — so the page matches what someone searching for manpower actually typed.

02

The offer is stated in the headline, not discovered later

Before

"Your primary manpower supply in Singapore", followed by "but we're more than that" — the page immediately widened away from the thing being sold.

After

Warehouse and industrial manpower, deployed in 24 hours. The category, the sector and the response time in one line, above the fold.

03

The questions a hirer actually asks, answered on the homepage

Before

Corporate positioning and group structure. Nothing about compliance, contract length or how quickly anyone could start.

After

MOM compliance, flexible contracts with no long-term commitment, industry-ready talent and scalable teams — stated as a strip across the page rather than buried in a PDF.

04

One action, aimed at hiring

Before

A general Contact item in a seven-item corporate navigation shared with careers and investor-facing pages.

After

Get Reliable Manpower Now, repeated down the page, going to an enquiry that asks what the job is rather than to a generic contact form.

The system

Attendance for people who do not sit at desks.

Workers are deployed across client sites, on shifts, for a day at a time. Paper sheets and supervisor WhatsApps do not survive that, and payroll pays for it at the end of the month. So the clock-in had to happen at the site, be provable, and land somewhere the office could actually use.

A site QR that expires

Each site shows a QR code that regenerates every thirty seconds, so a photographed code is worthless within the minute. A worker scans it on arrival.

Clock-ins tied to a real shift

A scan is only accepted if the worker has an active shift at that site, inside its start and end window with the agreed grace periods. Otherwise it is refused.

Supervisors work from the phone

The supervisor app shows who is present and who is absent for their team, displays the site code, and handles bulk corrections when something has gone wrong on the ground.

The office works from a dashboard

Workers, sites, shift assignments, public holidays and manual overrides are all managed from a web dashboard, with an Android admin app covering the same ground away from a desk.

The month leaves as a spreadsheet

Attendance exports as CSV for any date range, filtered by site and shift, so payroll is a download rather than a retyping exercise.

Roles that match the org chart

Admin, supervisor, client and worker each see their own slice, and supervisor permissions are granular — managing workers, assigning shifts and issuing overrides are separate rights.

The half of the system a worker actually holds. They sign in, scan the site QR to start the shift, and scan it again to end it — with the clock-in time, clock-out time and running hours on the screen in front of them, so the record they are trusting is one they can see. The supervisor and admin apps sit behind it.

Why you may not be able to install it

3G ManPower operates in Singapore, so its apps are published to the Singapore store only. Open the listing from India and it will load, show the screenshots, and offer no Install button — that is a country restriction we set on purpose, not a broken or fictional app. It is a real listing, under our own developer account, and you are welcome to check it.

Results

The site is live and the system is in daily use. The numbers behind it belong to the client, not to us.

Headcount, attendance volume and enquiry figures are 3G's own commercial data. We will publish what they are happy for us to publish, and nothing else — an invented number would be worth less than an empty space.
